The story
The idea
A stone house on a Provençal hill, rows of rose bushes, the earth warming by late morning. The perfume does not describe a tidy garden but a field rose, full and a little wild.
The accord
Spices open with warmth and add relief without covering the flower. Rose centifolia, the May rose picked in Grasse, fills the whole heart, rich and velvety. Patchouli and woods anchor it in dark, dry soil, the way roots hold a plant on a windy slope.
On the skin
The rose stays in front for hours, then patchouli takes over and the trail grows darker and drier. Longevity is long and the sillage moderate: it is noticed without filling the room.
When to wear it
By day in mild weather or in the evening, in spring and autumn, and into the first cold days. For an invitation, a ceremony or a night out. It suits rose lovers, men and women, who want their rose deeper.
