The story
The idea
The Kenzo poppy is dressed here in deep red. Le Rouge tells of a calm passion that slowly turns into warmth. Think of the last touch of lipstick before going out, the one that completes the whole look. Nothing here is loud, yet nothing is shy.
The accord
The opening is unexpected: soft musk and a warm rice note, almost milky, like steam rising into cold air. Damask rose then unfolds, velvety rather than fresh. At the base, amber, vanilla and creamy sandalwood add a golden sweetness.
On the skin
The start stays hushed, then the rose grows fuller and the sweet base settles in. Longevity is long and sillage is noticeable: a creamy halo follows skin and clothes until the end of the evening.
When to wear it
Mostly in the evening, in autumn and winter, for a dinner or a special occasion. By day, a single spray is enough. Apply to the neck, wrists and behind the ears, without rubbing.
