The story
The idea
Habit Rouge takes its name from the riders’ coat. This Parfum version keeps the noble outline and gives it more density. Picture a wood-panelled room, low light and a golden glass on the table. The man who wears it enters quietly and is noticed anyway.
The accord
Bergamot and lemon open with a short burst, a cool breath before stepping into the warmth. At the heart, the bourbon accord spreads its amber heat, nutmeg adds a gentle bite and leather brings depth. Storax, patchouli and vanilla form a resinous, velvety base.
On the skin
The freshness fades quickly in favour of leather and spice. Longevity is very long and sillage is noticeable: by the end of the day a soft, resinous aura remains, close to polished wood.
When to wear it
In the evening, through autumn and winter, for a dinner, a reception or an important meeting. One spray on the neck and another on the chest. In high summer, keep it for cooler nights.
