The story
The idea
Burberry wanted a scent that looks like London when it smiles: lively, spontaneous, never overdressed. Her plays the fruit card without falling into sugar. You wear it like a pale trench coat, without thinking, and it stays with you all day.
The accord
The opening mixes red and dark berries, led by blackcurrant and blueberry, for a juicy, tart start. Jasmine and violet then take over, one luminous, the other powdery. The base stays soft: pale woods, a clean musk and a dry amber.
On the skin
Berries lead for the first fifteen minutes, then the flowers round off the fruit. It has medium longevity and a moderate trail: it stays close and pleasant, never invasive. A second application in the afternoon is easy.
When to wear it
By day, from spring to autumn, for work, classes, a walk or lunch with friends. On the wrists and neck, after a shower, while the skin is still slightly warm.
