Jean Paul Gaultier, the sailor and the scandal
A torso in a striped sailor shirt inside a tin can: in 1995 Le Male broke every rule. Thirty years later the house is still playing, with Scandal and its sculpture bottles.
01Le Male, 1995
Composed by Francis Kurkdjian, Le Male marries the lavender of 1950s barbers with vanilla and mint. The bottle, a torso in a sailor shirt, comes in a metal can, a motif Gaultier has used since 1980.

02Scandal, the spirit of Pigalle
In 2017 Daphné Bugey, with Fabrice Pellegrin and Christophe Raynaud, imagined Scandal: a honey chypre with gardenia and patchouli, presented in a bottle that never goes unnoticed.
