01A long-awaited birth

Bleu de Chanel is the house’s first major masculine since Égoïste in 1990. Jacques Polge, Chanel’s perfumer, composes it in 2010; he signs the eau de parfum in 2014, before his son Olivier Polge creates the Parfum in 2018.

02Blue, an attitude

Chanel’s blue is not a bottle colour, it is a state of mind: that of a free man who refuses ready-made codes. The launch was entrusted to Martin Scorsese, for a film equal to that promise.
